Burak Buyukdemir is the founder of Etohum, a startup capital venture catalyzer that aims to associate investors, professionals, and companies with young entrepreneurs who have knowledge and ideas about the new economy and who want to found their own companies. He is also the co-founder of Goril Bilisim AS.
Previously he worked at Interbank and Veezy-go internet project. He then produced technology and internet programs on national television and radio and wrote a book about internet startup stories and entrepreneurship.He has also been working as a part-time lecturer on e-commerce and e-marketing at Istanbul Technical University and provides consultancy services for internet companies.
Buyukdemir completed an executive education program on e-commerce in Columbia University and graduated with honors in 1994 from Istanbul Technical University with a degree in management engineering. He also earned a master’s degree from Bosporus University.
