Wrist is a Sofia, Bulgaria based startup, founded in January 2014 by Ned Dervenkov, Dimitar Manolov and Daniel Radev, providing a new and smart way of cashless payments. Wrist bracelet enables to access control regulation, new channel for customer acquisition, understanding and retention. Wrist a is wearable, “smart” bracelet that is functional, secured and intuitive for usage.
Wristband is a bluetooth low energy device containing your event pass and your current account info,allowing you to make contactless payments and beat the queues. You can also use your smart phone to load money into your bracelet on anywhere at anytime. It provides businesses with real time statistics about consumer behavior, operational productivity, cash and stock flow.
Wrist team plans on delivering a complete new way of payment for fun activities, such as music festivals and consumption at bars and restaurants. They also plan to start mass production in 2015.
They have already tested their product at a festival called The Big White Powder which is held at Chepelare, a ski resort in Southern Bulgaria. You can watch the video below:
