As you know Uber has launched its Black service with luxury Mercedes cars in Istanbul. And now they realized that there are times when you are rolling with a group of friends or would like to stretch out in Istanbul’s traffic, that a 4-person vehicle is not enough.
So, they introduced UberXL today, extra large and extra cheap Uber! Uber XL is a 6-person
vehicle at a lower price.
Whe you open Uber application, you will see two vehicle options: Black and XL, Select XL, Pick request location and tap on Request XL. The prices are:
- Base Fare: TL8.00
- Per Kilometer: TL2.50
- Per Minute: TL0.35
- Minimum fee: TL15.0
- Cancellation fee: TL15.00
Currently, UberXL consists of Mercedes Vito and VW Caravelle. And also it is still possible to split the fare. Within the Uber application, after you request the vehicle, just tap on “Split Fare” and share the fare.
