The largest online retail store in Nigeria has over 1000 employees and is active in Egypt, Morocco, Kenya, Ivory Coast, Uganda, Ghana and Cameroon. The e-commerce platform is inspired by Amazon and offers for buying anything from home goods and electronics to clothes.
SleepOut – Africa’s coolest place to sleep
The African Airbnb presents to the world accommodations in 505 cities and 62 countries.
Sleepout is changing the travel experiences for everyone who wants to visit and explore the beautiful countries of Africa. The users are able to search their travel destinations, to find the most suitable places to stay in, to contact their hosts and make their booking. Later, there is nothing left than to confirm their stay and get ready to travel. It has never been easier for people around Africa to list their places and to become hosts for many travelers.
BRCK – The go anywhere, do anything, self-powered, mobile WIFI device.
This device, developed in Nairobi, Kenya from a team of developers, engineers and technicians, is the one device that everyone strongly appreciates. It provides the opportunity to be connected to the internet anywhere, anytime, even if there is electricity blackout. With their device the team from Nairobi is changing the way the entire world gets connecting, even in the urban areas where electricity and internet connection is problematic. BRCK started a Kickstarter campaign and was successfully funded on June 4, 2013.
