Anirudh is a 4th generation entrepreneur who has been active in the investment space since 2011. He has invested in over 57 startups, participated in 100+ funding rounds, yielding a 4.2x multiple for his family fund (Artha India Ventures). Some of his investments include Oyo Rooms, Exotel, BabyChakra, CoutLoot, Tala and NowFloats. In June 2018, Anirudh launched his an Institutional Fund, Artha Venture Fund. The fund has a $30 million corpus, a life of 7 years and will invest up to $2m over the course of 3 rounds into 40-45 early stage disruptive startups. The fund made its first close in July 2018 and has made 2 investments so far. Through the fund, Anirudh works closely with founders at a stage where it is early enough to drive growth by mentoring decisions that involve sales, marketing, recruiting, finance and operations.
