1. Remove Extra Chatter
Too much irrelevant information forces %62 of online shoppers to give up shopping for a specific product or service online.
2. Put Info in the Right Place
Web users spend %80 of their time looking at information above the page fold.
3. Remove your Sliders
If you split your sliders into small pieces of images, users clicks %28 more on them.
4. Quick Load Time
People will visit a website less often if it is slower than a close competitor by more than 250 milliseconds. %80 of online users will click away if a video stalls while loading.
5. Determine the Correct Search Box Size
Average search box size is 18 characters wide. Extending the box to 27 characters would accommodate %90 of queries.
6. Optimize your Page Layout
Optimize for a length of 1000-1600 pixels and width of about 770 pixels. Use same layout for all the pages and don’t show to your visitors dead web pages.
7. Use the Correct Typography
Keep the number of different fonts to minimum. Use max. 4 different colors. Optimal width for text lines to be between 45 and 75 characters.
