Rahul Sood joined Microsoft as the “General Manager For System Experience” in the Interactive Entertainment Group in 2010, then moved to Microsoft Bing to help startups in early stages. He created Bing Fund in 2012 and launched the first angel investment fund in Microsoft’s history. Now, He is General Manager of the Microsoft Startups group which operates startup accelerators and runs angel investments.
Sood founded VoodooPC in 1991 which was acquired by HP, then joined HP as the CTO for the Global Gaming Business in 2006. His team created some of the most interesting products for HP such as HP Blackbird, HP Firebird, and HP ENVY.
He is interested in offering wider access to healthcare services, therefore he cofounded a company called BrightSquid Medical, a collaboration platform for medical professionals and also would like to get involved in developing tech toys for children with autism.
