LocName is a new startup from Egypt, founded by 3 young entrepreneurs in 2014!
“LocName” is an abbreviation of “Location Name’’, a web and mobile application that gives a short, unique name for your address, which you can then share easily in just 2 seconds! LocName transforms your address into something short and easy such as a short URL like www.locname.com/yourname, a unique name that your friends and clients can search for over our Apps to find your address or a QR code that you can print on your printing material i.e. flyers or business card.
Your friends/clients can find your location easily by searching for your LocName on our website or mobile App. Then we will provide them with all details and directions to reach your place!
The founders say ”The idea is very simple, yet convenient, we thought of it as a result of a hectic problem, that we face on daily basis- sometimes even more than once in one day – which is Getting Lost! , we tried to find a solution that enables you to share your address in a more convenient way, through LocName. You no longer have to be a company to have your location on the internet.”
