Organized first time in Turkey and hosted by Etohum, 1776 Challenge Cup Istanbul selected Turkish startups that will represent Turkey in region finals.
1776 Challenge Cup is a global startup challenge, organized by Washington based 1776 VC. In this tournament world-changing startups compete for winning cash prizes, making valuable international connections and share their startup vision and values with the world on the global stage.
The challenge passes three stages: Local, where 135 local winners from 45 cities will be chosen; Regional, where 45 regional winners from 9 regions will be selected; and Global Finals. All of the regional winners will be invited to compete for over $1 million in prizes by participating in the Challenge Cup Global Finals, which will take place next June in Washington, D.C.
Today, 20 startups was on stage to be one of the winners. Afters presentations doors closed and jury meeting has started to decide top three. After the coffee break 3 winners announced: Positive Energy, MagPos and Evreka.
1776 Challenge Cup Region finals will be in Dubai on February 11.
