“Most startups don’t understand the whole of what goes into a business model. It’s not just the model of the business it’s the model of technology, it’s the model of finance, it’s the  model of management and they have to have those four things: business technology management and financial acumen to succeed. If they are lucky then mentoring can help fill the gaps but they need to have the gaps filled. They can’t try and do it with one bit missing.”
