Chris Skinner is the bestselling author of the book called digital bank and also runs the Financial Services Club European network for financial people. He was one of the speakers of Startup Turkey 2016 and gave us a special interview about the event and the ecosystem. Here is his core advice for startups.
“Most startups don’t understand the whole of what goes into a business model. It’s not just the model of the business it’s the model of technology, it’s the model of finance, it’s the model of management and they have to have those four things: business technology management and financial acumen to succeed. If they are lucky then mentoring can help fill the gaps but they need to have the gaps filled. They can’t try and do it with one bit missing.”
