FriendyCar: First Peer to Peer Car Borrowing in MENA with the aim of Disrupting the mobility, and auto-insurance market.
In short, we aim to switch the car owner status from someone who pays maintenance, insurance, and parking fees, and suffer the losses of the car’s depreciation cost, to someone who gets to share his/her car, make more money, and support the community and the environment, all while the car is completely covered by our insurance partner. Awarded Best MENA startup by Smart Dubai and Shortlisted among best 100 global startups at Websummit
ABOUT FOUNDER
Abdelrahman Elgamal comes from a telecom, engineering and financial sector background, he believes that car sharing will greatly reduce the number of cars on the road.
