HERZ Medical Eng’g is a Catheter-based cardiac assistance device. The device is inserted into the body without the need for an open chest surgery, and can pump blood just like a normal heart.

Farah Charafeddine is an Electrical Engineer, she graduated with distinction from the American University of Beirut in 2006. She Worked as a consultant in Power and Energy for more than 10 years and then as a researcher in the medical devices industry.
