Iyris
Iyris makes transparent solar windows. Their technology absorbs the infrared portion of light to produce electricity and block heat entering the building, whilst remaining transparent to our eyes. Our windows invisibly produce electricity and reduce a building’s cooling load.

Derya Baran is an assistant professor in KAUST and co-founder of Iyris. He recently won MIT Emtech innovators under 35 awards for his work in advancing the PV field.
