Marvin Liao discussed being born in the US but raised in Canada by immigrant parents, living in Asia for a couple years after college. They then moved to San Francisco in 1999 and have been in the US for almost 25 years. They did startup work raising $63 million for an e-commerce company, running online marketing. The business failed. They were then fortunate to join Yahoo in 2001 as an engineer, working in sales, marketing and expanding Yahoo to 45 countries during their 10.5 years there. #Shorts
