Our company, Okoa Jamii has a software solution for anonymous crime reporting, data storage and analysis helping women speak up about human rights violation against them to help address the rising cases of domestic violence by using the high rate of mobile phone penetration in the community.

ABOUT FOUNDER
Abubakar Mbarak the first Director of the Department of Early Warning and Evaluation (DEWE) at United Nations Youth Association of Kenya (UNYA Kenya). He is responsible for analyzing the state of the youth, providing early warning information and assessing national and regional youth trends to catalyze and promote national cooperation and action on youth. He earned his First Class Honours Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering and Maritime operations from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
