I love learning from people with totally different perspectives than my own. Lately I've been fascinated by philosophy and education models from history. Maria Montessori designed her teaching method out of necessity - with few teachers they had to structure peer-to-peer learning. I'd love to pick her brain on how she created that curriculum. In ancient Greece and Rome, students learned in circles having organic discussions - a contrast to today's rigid rows of desks. I want to understand how philosophers like Socrates, Aristotle and the Stoics used peer learning to tackle life's biggest questions.
